The summer course is two laps of a 2.45 km loop plus 100 metres at the start. The paths are grit and even after a lot of rain there are very few puddles. The course is completely traffic-free and most UK runners would consider it to be flat. It has been measured using a Jones Counter and in accordance with IAAF rules.
There is plenty of room in the finishing area (100 metres from the start) for bikes, prams, pushchairs, bags, etc. and a lovely meadow for kids to play in. Please note that there are no toilets and no picnic tables etc.
We are grateful to the Municipality of Copenhagen for granting us a permit for Brabrand parkrun. Although we are the only organisation to hold such a permit Denmark is a consensus society and as such we like to show consideration for other users of the common. Please give way to them. This won't hurt your time, it won't stop you from getting a PB and it will make sure everyone continues to enjoy the event.
